Informacje dotyczące programu kursu

KURS ODBYWAĆ SIĘ BĘDZIE W FORMIE STACJONARNEJ.

 

Cele kursu:
The general aim of this course is to Improve students’ General knowledge about the world history in a different and interactive way; knowing about different cultures and traditions prepare them to make better connections and communication with people from different backgrounds and origins; 
A)    Improving students’ knowledge regarding different cultures around the world .  
B)    Increasing studentds’ awarenewss vis-à-vis the ancient civilizations, their evoloution and the changes in their demographies.  
C)    Prepare the students to better understand the current cultural differences in different parts of the world.  


Tematyka kursu:
We will cover a good range of related topics and related discourses during our workshop. 
A)    The evolution of the Societies :A1) key definitions, A2) key events and mechanisms, A3) different phases of evolution.  
B)    Categorizing the world civilizations : B1) Key definition, B2)  Old World  B3) New World.   
C)    Cradle of civilization: a comprehensive-comparative discussion regarding the cores of civilizations, their history and important patterns. 
D)    Modernity and the Passage of Civilization: Comparison between the history and current condition of the civilizations.
E)    Countries and Cultures and their unique Traditions: facts, realities and dreams. 



Efekty uczenia się:
The main outcome is to make students more familiar with the world old civilizations, cultures and traditions, since this course is being conducted in English, the students will also become fluent in their speaking abilities and communication skills, this course will definitely make a change for those who take part. 


Metody pracy:
Lectures with dynamic involvements; at the first session I will introduce the main topics of discussion, then for each upcoming session, students will be notified about the topic to come and they are asked to go through the topic shortly in order to have a general idea of the next class; they will be given the educational materials for the upcoming session as well, in each session I will elaborate on the topics and after that, a comprehensive discussion will engage the whole class 

Informacje o egzaminie

Informacja: Egzamin nie jest obowiązkowy - jest przeznaczony dla słuchaczy, którzy chcą otrzymać Świadectwo Ukończenia Kursu. Warunkiem podejścia do egzaminu jest uczestniczenie w co najmniej 60% zajęć (10h) oraz terminowe dokonanie płatności za egzamin.
